Shift log (Communications)

Channels for the crew, mentions by role, and a shift handover filled from live plant data that the incoming shift acknowledges.

Channels

Shift handover, Operations, Maintenance, Safety. A message can link an asset or an incident, so the next person lands on the right trend.

Mentions

Write @operator, @engineer, @maint, @hse or @manager to notify a role. Each role sees its unread messages and mentions.

Shift handover

Post a handover and its plant-state section is filled from live data by the server: the active upset, incidents in the last 12 hours, key values and condition alerts. You add your notes and open items by hand. The incoming shift acknowledges it, not the author; unacknowledged handovers stay listed as waiting.

OTIS can draft the handover from what the plant did during the shift. You read it, correct it and post it.

Notifications

On the demonstration, email notifications are shown as queued but never sent. Video rooms are planned for a later phase.
