The AI operator in the Plant Management Suite

OTIS sits beside your plant and tells the crew what moved first.

OTIS reads the same signals your operators watch, the notes they write and the procedures they follow. When something drifts, he shows what left its normal pattern first, explains it in plain words and points to the procedure. He never touches a setpoint. People decide.

OTIS ● DEMO-MBR

A real incident, not a mock-up

Blower BL-1 trip, day 13 on the demo plant

The Suite runs a membrane bioreactor model day and night. This is what it recorded for this trip: the first-mover analysis, computed on the server, the operator's note, and OTIS's recommendation, word for word.

  1. SignalBL-1 discharge pressure, speed and vibration drop togetherdecisive
  2. SignalBearing temperature starts to fallstrong
  3. SignalMotor current and power fall to zerodecisive
  4. Crew“BL-1 alarm horn, blower stopped. No air breaking the surface in the bioreactor.”
  5. OTIS“Check the local disconnect and the VFD fault code on BL-1 first.”

Demo plant clock. “Decisive”: more than 10 standard deviations outside the signal's normal pattern; “strong”: more than 5.

His rules

Written into his constitution, applied to every answer

He never invents

Every value he quotes comes from the historian, a crew note or a procedure. If he doesn't know, he says so.

He advises, people decide

He changes no setpoint and closes no record. A person always clicks.

The crew counts

What operators see, hear and smell goes into the incident timeline, next to the signals.

The computation stays on the server

Process model, analysis and AI run server-side. The browser only displays.

How he connects

Beside the control loop, never inside it

A parallel read

OPC UA, a historian export or files: OTIS reads the data and writes nothing to the PLC.

Your plant's model

Equipment, signals, limits and procedures are described in an asset model. A new plant is a configuration, not new software.

Where he runs

Hosted by Beedy or installed on your own servers, in your crew's language.

Three levels

You choose how far he goes

Observe

Available

He watches signals, notes and events, and shows what moved first.

Advise

Available

He explains, points to the procedure, and drafts reports and shift handovers for a person to sign.

Operate

Pilot

In development, pilot only: setpoint requests that pass through an operator's approval and your plant's own interlocks.

Watch him work on a running plant.

The Suite is open, no sign-up. Pick the last incident on the live plant, then ask him what happened.
